I am so happy to be the new counselor at Farmersville Junior High School. I spent 5 years as the counselor at the Intermediate School and am thrilled to be working again with all of these students. This is my 16th year in education. I started as an elementary music teacher in DeSoto ISD . I then moved to Rockwall ISD in 2007 and taught elementary music. In 2010 moved choir at Rockwall High School. My family moved to Farmersville in 2011 where I started teaching Junior High and High School choir in this district. I received my masters in School Counseling in May of 2014 and have been a counselor ever since.
My family and I have loved being a part of the Farmersville Community. My oldest daughter, Mikiah graduated from FHS in 2018 and is a sophomore at Texas A&M University in College Station, Gig’em! My twins, Ayden & Alexa are seniors this year and keep us busy with college visits, theater and band. My husband owns a plumbing business and has started a small home building business. As a family we love to travel, attend sporting events, concerts, movies and weekends away. I also sing at First Baptist Church Plano on Sunday mornings so I haven’t left my music background completely behind.
I am so thrilled to be a part of the FJHS administration Team. It is my goal to address the academic, career, and personal/social development of all students while striving to empower them to maximize their potential and academic achievement.
Live Kind. Growth for All.
