The band had 22 students compete in All-Region Band Auditions Friday in Van Alstyne. This is the largest number of participants Farmersville has taken to the auditions in at least the past 10 years. Farmersville Junior High had 9 students earn a spot in an all-region band, which is triple our numbers from last year and the most successful audition we've ever had! Travis Chambers, Sadie Johnson, and Blake Malena earned spots in the symphonic band, which is the top performing group. Cohen Cross, Lily Holland-Heith, River Holland-Heith, Luke Lair, Allie Lisenbee, and Nancy Rodriguez all earned a spot in the concert band. These students will represent Farmersville Junior High January 13-14 at the Region 24 ATSSB All-Region Clinic and Concert in Anna. Congratulations to all of the students who participated and especially those earning spots in a performing ensemble!
