Counselor

Hello, Farmers!

This is my 19th year in education and my first year at Farmersville.  I am really enjoying meeting everyone and getting to experience all the things that make Farmersville so very special.  I hold bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Communication Specialties from Baylor University. I also have a master’s degree in School Counseling and a master’s degree in Licensed Professional Counseling from Amberton University.  My background includes working with Disney to create an educational video, teaching at Baylor University, and coordinating people for events on the White House lawn. While I have enjoyed all my different past positions, I love being a counselor. I’m all about helping students reach their dreams, have a wonderful school experience, giving support that leads to empowerment and providing amazing customer service.  I have experience in individual counseling, group counseling, academic counseling, crisis counseling, and college counseling as well as state testing, 504, and family support. I’m here to help you. You are worth my time.  Let’s work together to make this an amazing year.

My husband, Brad, is the Lead Network Engineer in the IT department at Southern Methodist University. We have two daughters, Caitlin and Lauren. Our time is spent making memories with family and friends, enjoying live theater, traveling, cheering on the Mustangs, the Bears and the Aggies, and keeping up with our cat, Casey.
