Are you a 7th grader interested in joining NJHS? If so, please fill out the application and submit the required documents to Mrs. Arnett and Mrs. Cathey by March 3rd. This is a great opportunity to be apart of a giving and honorable society.

Students interested in taking college courses next year in HS will take the TSI exam next week. Students must pass the exam to enroll in dual credit courses. All Honors English students will take the exam. If not in honors but interested in taking the exam, please email [email protected]. Students who do not pass the first round will re-take after Spring Break.

Due to the very hazardous road conditions and anticipated refreezing of roads, all Farmersville ISD campuses and district facilities will remain closed on Friday, February 3. All classes and events scheduled for Friday, February 3, are canceled.

FJHS had 9 Students earn a spot in the all-region band.
Travis Chamers, Sadie Johnson, and Blake Malena earned spots in the symphonic band.
Cohen Cross, Lily Holland-Heith, River Holland-Heith, Luke Lair, Allie Lisenbee, and Nancy Rodriguez earned a spot in the concert band. Congrats Farmers.

Elijah Davis received 1st Chair All-Region MS Tenor-Bass Choir! This is the first time in the history of FJHS a student received this honor! Congrats Elijah!

Due to the high likelihood of severe weather during normal dismissal time, Farmersville ISD will release early today.

Mrs. Hornbuckle is the FJHS staff spirit winner for the month of October. Mrs. Hornbuckle is a great team player and always willing to take on new challenges. She teaches 7th grade TX History and English Language Arts while also helping mentor other teachers and coach UIL activities. Congrats!
