good morning Farmersville today please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance I pledge allegiance to flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all and the Texas pledge honor the Texas flag I pledge allegiance Texas State under God one and indivisible please remain standing for a moment of silence thank you please be seated and now the moment you've been waiting for yo today's announcements are brought to you by ties now I don't always wear tie but when I do it's often to form as some people that dressing up as to this special moments unfortunately due to the Health crisis we are all faced with some of the opportunities to dress up have not occurred having said this today and this week I wish to celebrate our students who have persevered through are his store challenges and I've been able to reach the end of the school year successfully I wish to formally thank you for all the work and energy invested and for not giving up when things got difficult most of all thank you for hanging around and watching this video segments year students and families can remain tied to important campus and District information by regularly checking the fjhs social media accounts that's Instagram Facebook and Twitter please note that the fisd and of your car parade takes place on Thursday May first student families will be invited to drive through the parking lot of each campus to wave goodbye to their teachers families with students at Tatum can drive through from 5 to 5:30 p.m. families with students at the Intermediate School can drive through from 5 15 to 5:45 p.m. our fjhs students and families can drive through from 5:30 till 6 p.m. and families with students at the high school can drive through from 5:45 through 6:15 p.m. please note that the set a time for each campus do overlap and also note that we encourage you to decorate your car's blow bubbles makes signs and otherwise excitement as we celebrate the end of the year together in addition to these stand I'm excited to share that we have been invited to for support after HS seniors at the enjoy a community parade that will include stops at East Campus in a typical year seniors would do a senior walk at each campus during the school day but now can all celebrate them together in a grand way fjhs students and families are invited to drive through for their own end of year celebration and then you may choose to stay at our parking lot and wait for the seniors who will be driving through sometime after 6 p.m. mind that you do not have to park in our parking lot but if you choose to do so you must Park in an available space and this will be on a first-come first-served basis medical shoes to head to the square instead in addition to any signs & Decor or you may choose to make for the fjhs celebration we also encourage making signs of support for the seniors as well this is the final week of classes for the school year and all classroom teachers will be wrapping up their grading by the end of the please note the class grades are always found in the online Parent Portal and that Google Classroom is not an official Gradebook assignments must be turned in online by 4 p.m. on Thursday May 21st at the latest so make sure to Ma your timing on Friday May 22nd all packets must be returned for grading also all Chromebooks and any other school and items should be brought back on this day since dfjhs who is closed for renovation we will be collecting all items on the backside of Farmersville High School from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. remember it's better to turn into work that you have done even if it's not totally completed rather than turn nothing at all if you are behind on your assignments we encourage you to tie little harder to get as much done as possible this week in addition to the materials collection day this Friday fisd campus offices will be out and staffed Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. until further notice remember that as fjhs is still hiding up from our renovation our office team will be working in the fa Library also phone will still be monitored and voicemail messages will be returned report cards will be printed and mailed home as soon as grapes have been prepared this is currently planned for Friday May 29th additionally some student awards and other information will also be sent home feel free to contact the office if you prefer to pick these items up instead of having them mailed but call early as once they're sent out my hands are tied and we get them back course registration closes at the end of this week please make sure to review all course guys and registration directions which are found on the fjhs website under and remember we would rather you get a class schedule Taylor to your interest rather than us picking your classes for you food service for all children ages 1 through 18 is now located at the intermediate campus from 10:30 a.m. through 12:30 everyday I'm in school calendar also know that just because the school year calendar is ending doesn't mean we are cutting ties with the community no
